Stripped Harmonic balancer Bolt

When using GM bolts, and it looks like you did, you torque it to 24o lb/ft with the old bolt, then install a new bolt to 37 lb/ftt and add 140 degrees.
BUT, since you used the new bolt to torque to 240 lb/ft and completely seated the balancer you may have over stretched the new bolt. Technically you should remove the bolt and install a brand new bolt to 37 lb/ft and 140 degrees. You can either leave it as is or run in a new bolt, your call. But for the small cost of a new bolt personally I'd run in a new bolt.

But if it will cause harm leaving it torqued at 240lb I wll replace the bolt.

New bolt is not the concern here as they are only $11, so I do not mind buying a new one every time. My concern is what I have stated above, new bolt was installed and torqued to 240lb ft with some blue locktight, will it explode if i leave it? or should it be removed and replaced?
