how can you tell if ls1 is m6??

Default how can you tell if ls1 is m6??

I am buying a 1998 z28. Is is m6, a4? whats the difference?? help!!!

look at the center console.

if you have to think when you drive it, its a M6 (M means manual 6 for speeds)

if you don't have to think, other than put in gear its an A4 (A for auto, 4 for speeds)

M6 = Manual (6 speed)
A4 = Automatic (4 speed)

I am not sure if that's what u were asking or not.
