I know that some Camaro SS's from factory came with Bilstein Suspension if chosen by the owner...did some of the Transams also come witht his Bilstein Suspension because i noticed from changing from my 94 Z28 for my 98 Transam, my handling is WAY BETTER!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!

no trans ams with bilsteins. Only Firehawks had that as an option. Easy way to check? Look under your car and if you see yellow shocks someone put bilsteins on there. If they are orange, they are stock DeCarbon shocks (which are better than LT1 stuff too)

Nine Ball is correct, and I'll add that the LS1 is lighter up front, which may add to the feeling it handles better.
