lt1 350 vs gen1 305
a friend of mine is under the impression that the lt1 and 1st gen 305 have tons in common, and infact share the same mounting brackets. is this true?
(btw we are talking about putting a lt1 into a85 monte carlo ss, he thinks it'll slide right in?)

On a head/intake swap:
I don't think putting the intake on a regular SBC will work because it doesn't have coolant passages. Heads won't work period.
On a complete swap: The motor mounts are different I beleive (at least for trucks they are) but the swap is popular so custom mounts shouldn't be hard to find.
