The Berger Supercar is a GMMG car...i personally think it looks better than the ZL1...the front fascia is much more appealing...and also...its got the same 427 in her...so hows it gonna compare? also i believe its said to be between 85-115 grand for different ones and there making either 30 or 33 of them

33 including all the PR cars. My car has the 427 as well, so a base model widebody will be about on par. The PR car from the unveiling had 630 hp so maybe they will step it up one notch just to make them even more insane that the ZL-1's. I love the looks of the new Dick Harrell cars alot, even more than my Z, but hey you can't have your ZL-1 and have your Dick Harrell car too...unless you gots lots to spend. Thing about the ZL-1's is that they very much on par with what the ZL-1's of 69 looked like. For the most part there wasn't much to decipher them from a regular Z-28 or SS...it was what was under the hood that counted.

hey WHITTEN,

is that your last name? and if so, any relation to the GM designer who helped on some redesign aspects of the new harrel car? i finally got to read the story, and that name shows up in one of the captions.

It is my last name, and I am sure by some long lost relative I am realted to the guy...since there aren't many Whittens out there. The story on the car is cool isn't it, I picked up a copy of GM High high tech that told me all about where it came from. Now I just rely on Ron or Matt to tell me the history behind some of these cars. If you have ever wanted a really interesting history lesson over mid 60's super cars, drag racing, and factory production drag cars Matt Murphy is the man to talk to. That man has a wealth of info, and for that matter so does everyone that works over there at GMMG.

Funny story though, I have a friend that works at Lamar Walden here in Atlanta, and one of the guys that he works with is also good friends with the boys at GMMG. Ryan's black SS was the test car they used to fit all the body panels for the wide body car. Expect to see Ryans car doing some amazing things soon.

i just figured it was a little fishy that yall had a ZL1 and the same name as one of the guys thta helped with the new cars. LOL. that car is freakin sweet. i love the hood. i want a low profile smooth cowl for my car, not one of those huge rectagular harwood craps. they made that hood themselves for the harrell car, anyone know where i can get a cowl hood thats like that?

Isn't 600hp to 900hp only equal to a 300hp gain... its ok we all have those days where you just cant add numbers.

Luvme, I was looking at pictures of the Harrell hood and and it rang on me...I know where they got the idea from. If you go and look at the list of hoods the Goodmark Industries offers, they have pictures of late model truck hoods. The scoop on that Camaro most closely resembles the rounded off cowl of the 99-05 Truck hood...seriously. It is the closest resemblence that I can think of, and if you were to use that hood as a way to make a fiberglass mold I am sure you could fab up a hood exactly like the Harrell car.

Well you are a moron.

600 hp + 400 hp = 900 rwhp.

Not exactly, but something like that. If you pulled your head out of your *** for more than 30 seconds you probably could have figured this out on your own.

Instead, you embarass yourself in front of everyone.

Sorry bout your luck.

tahts 600 bhp vs 1200 bhp. OR ~500 rwhp vs ~900 rwhp... which would be 400 rwhp difference.

Please someone tell me this 100k dollar camaro does not really have a stock 10 bolt. If someone pays 60k for a ******* decal that is supposed to be "prestigious" you have more money than brains and should be forced to stay in your basement. Period.

i wish someone made the hood in the aftermarket, but i did go talk to the best body man in town yesterday, and he told me he could fab that up when i was ready. just gotta come up with the dollars for it. i have a few other things im saving for first. but yeah, that hood does look just like the truck ones.
