Well today my "low oil light" came on , so i stopped to check it out, and it was pretty low. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars so if anyone can make some suggestions about what could be causing this. I put like 6 qts of 10w30 Mobil One in it like almost 3 months ago when I installed my LT's and ORY, around 3,000 miles have passed since then. It doesn't leak oil onto the ground either. Any suggestions? My father said it was from "hot-rodding", which it isn't like i do it all the time. I'm scared to get pulled over. Thanks for any input.

IF you do a search in some other forums ( i think ENgine internals is one) you see this is a common problem /issue in most, but not all LS1 cars.
I cant rember why ( pre caffiene! LOL) but its somethign to do with the design and is a tradeoff that allows more lubricration which allows more HP.
FYI, my car (2000 TA) just got its second qt of M1 0w40 added. Its ben about 3500 miles since its first oil change ( bought at 40k).
No leaks.
I also recall that some people think this issue is aggravated by what type of oil you use ....but lets not get into the whole battle of Mobil1 vs AMsoil vs Royal Purple!
