it sounds like you have trouble shot this correctly, now to fix it,
after 35-40 k miles it is not unusual for the stock exhast hangers to get loose and sloppy allowing your exhast to travel further then it did before.
this is a reletivly cheap part and VERY easy to fix. take a look at the rubber couplings on the hangers(thats what needs replaced)
the second place i would look is your ypipe clearance, if it is to close then it will bang or rattle as well.the fix for this is funny but it works , identify the place it is hitting(found by looking for shiny spots made from contact) then get an old valve spring(several people have them laying around just ask) and have it welded inbetween the ypipe and the floorboard.
