Like I said before..if you really want to burn out with an auto just brake torque it, if you insist on burning that nice rubber

my 273 will light it up insane with a little BT..

In reponse to the not being able to fishtale..thats insane. My car has 273s and newer tires. If i put it in drive with the ASR off I can go sideways thru any turn..donno what to tell yah *shrug*

I can't even get my car to burn out in the rain with the clutch engaged. Well, that's before hitting 3-4000rpm, than the tires just break loose.

there is no way you couldn't spin the tires in the rain...my 98 v6 auto camaro will spin the tires in the rain for as long as i hold the gas down practicaly...it will go through 3rd gear before it stops...speedo usually reads around 110 but im only going maybe 50..that after maybe 15 seconds of not going anywhere...this is whithout the brake too...

if you can't spin the tires in the rain you need to sell your car...

Well, with the clutch engaged at idle and then mashing the throttle, my car will not spin the tires until hitting 3-4000 rpm. This is with TC off, good pavement and going straight. However, with a bit of clutch moderation I can spin the tires at will in wet or dry pavement. Hopefully my car is not defective.

the rain part is what i don't understand...with over 100hp less and 150tq less i could spin them instantly at 2000rpms...now dry pavement is a different story haha..unless it was a miracle i couldn't even spin them in a straight line from a stop without using the brake...even with the brake it rarely happened...

LT1 engines have more torque down low.
an L98 can do an insane burnout with no brake..moreso than the LT1.

If you look at the trq curve it would be obvious. I raced my friends ls1 car on damp pavement once and while I lit the tires (Brand New BR730s) he just left me. Its not a bad thing.

I cant spin my tires in first without dumping the clutch. They will begin to break loose very slightly at around 5k. Then again, I think my car is slow. It seems very underpowered given my mods.

umm yeah because it takes power away via the belt setup...it would be similar to a reverse underdrive pulley...but not quite as much power difference...i'd say ~5hp

It sounds like there might be an issue with your car. I had a buddy here at work that had the same problem. His problem was the PCV hose had a hole in it. He couldn't get his car to spin more that 4 to 5 feet with the hole in the hose. After it was fixed he could light the tires up like he should be able to do. Just my $.02.
