Default 2002 Camaro SS...

I am looking into getting a 2002 Camaro SS in a couple months. Should I be able to get an 02 with under 35,000 miles for around $18,000 - $20,000 in the beginning of 2005? Few questions...Are all 2002 Camaros the 35th anniversary? Do all Camaro SS's come with leather? Thanks, Ryan

i belive all 2002 are 35ths anniversary editions, but only the some of the red ones with t-tops and convertible come with the 35th anniversary stripe package, even tho aftermarket decals places can duplicate those stripes in different colors. also, no, they come in cloth interior also.

The only ones that are 35th anniversary editions are the red ones with the checkered stripes. Period.

Everyone gets hung up on the stupid badge that says 35th anniversary, but unless you have the anniversary RPO, then it's nothing special.

You can get one for under 20 all day. Have you checked out any C5's? I own an SS and love it but... for $18,000 - $20,000 I would get the Vette.

I haven't look at the Corvettes yet, but when my mom was looking for one before she got a Z06 we didn't find any for under $22,000 but I will check now that you mention it.

All 2002 F-bodys are 35th anniversary vehicles, however only the Limited Edition are the special ones, as mentioned above. You should definitely find a SS in your budget. Not all came with leather, however the majority have it. Although I don't think that I've ever seen or read about a SS with cloth interior. Good luck with the car hunting.

For $20,000 you can pick up a '99 or '00 FRC vette...

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that all SS come with leather. I've never seen one without it. Yeah you can find one in your budget. The red ones are the only 35th anniversay ones. Mine is a 2002 SS and there is nothing anywhere the says about being 35th anniversary. Just another SS.

I've seen several without leather. The T/A's are the only ones that have leatehr standard.

Again, they are not 35th anniversary editions! They just have a 35th anniversary badge on the console, just stating it's 2002 - the 35th anniversary of the Camaro.

Here you go... I don't see anything that refers to a 35th anniversary "Edition"...

Not ALL 2002 Camaro SS's are 35th ann. editions! Only the red ones with the badging and the special graphics are! And SS's do come in cloth interior. Hope this clears things up for you. Good luck!!!!

All 02 Camaros are 35th Anniversary cars. They all have the 35th Anniversary plaque on the dash. The red one with the checkered flag hood stripes are the LE( Limited Edition) one. Leather seats was an option on all Camaros except the LE.

I think the point is they aren't a "Special Edition". Only the LE ones are anything "special". So it's just a 2002 Camaro. Nothing special about it.
