Default Oil change light

Why is this staying on for a little while after I start the car?

There's plenty of oil in the thing and it just had a mobile 1 change 1000 miles ago.

It's normal for the car to think it's time. To reset it, turn you key to on, but don't start the car. Then hold down the trip/oil reset button on your odometer for like 10 seconds, the oil light will go away until the computer thinks it's time again.

The "oil" light will flash to let you know its been reset. Just hold the trip/reset button in until it flashes.

You can also turn the key to the on position and pump the gas pedal 3 times. I'ts quicker and doesen't reset the trip odometer.

or what you could do is hold the start key for 10 sec...then hit the gas pedal...then turn the car off ....then take it to the dealership ....then do a search ....
