So am I right in thinking that if I have a 99 Formula without the WS6 hood, if I buy a ram air kit like SSRA or something like that, it would be the same as having the WS6 hood with functional ram air? Or should I just do the free ram air mod?

same principle, a sealed FTRA/SSRA would be better the standard WS6 ram air setup, though if you get the ram air hood you could get the BGRA.
