Default Possible new owner of a WS6

Hey everyone, newbie here. I've been studying the site for a couple months, and I'm finally ready to purchase either an '01 or '02 WS6. One WS6 I found seems like a good deal. The only warranty work that's been done was on a burnt out headlight and plastic things on the lugnuts, whatever they are. I guess it had some uneven wear on one of the front tires but after a rotation they've all been wearing fine. It has a flowmaster catback, whisper lid, and K&N filter. Not too many mods so that's good. I'm not a fan of flows, but they'll work. Is the whisper lid a good product? Oh yeah, only 13,000 on the clock, it's in its prime . Any info or comments from those with experience would be greatly appreciated.

It's an M6, and he's asking 21,700. That's quite a bit below book. Just wish it had something other than Flows.

That's a pretty good price, but you could probably find one in similar condition for $20k or less.

BlueSix,

I see you're in K.C. I'm in Salina, KS, and I can't find any WS6s close. The one in this post is 250 miles away, and its the best deal I've found. You know of any nearly stock '01 or '02 in the K.C. area?

I don't know of any that are available in KC right now, but i also haven't been looking. I would suggest you look in the calssified forum here. There are good prices to be had when buying from a member of this site.

I'd give him a hard time with the mods. Just say you were looking for something stock - he might come down in price.

I don't like buying anything with mods because I like to do things myself.
