ASP pulley.
Bought asp pulley locally. I noticed that when I bought it it did not come with the round bracket in front that should say auto specialties performance. A friend told me that the difference is that it was not SFI approved. what would that mean? I monitored the knock sensor and nothing showed up. My friend told me that it was balanced because it had a drilled hole about 8 millimeters in on the back. My average run only went down about .06 or .07 hundreths. i noticed that everyone else though went down at least 3 tenths on an lt1 with 4.10's and I heard a euro say he went down a second. A fully tuned chevelle with 454 was only runnning 13.405. this is at 4500ft with DA of 7000ft so we lose a second here. Maybe the air was different. hopefully next week I see different.

Those guys claiming 3 tenths with a pulley swap are full of crap. The pulley swap is typically a 1 tenth and 1 mph mod. Its worth about 10 rwhp on the dyno most of the time.
The older versions were not SFI rated, they had an open front with an aluminum hub and black outer ring. The newer ones have a closed front with just a hole for the bolt to pass thru. SFI is just a safety rating, it means it has been approved that it won't blow up at high rpm. The old ones still work just fine.
