you could get 20 hp with a good tune easy.
But I don't think anyone has ever tried... At least not that I know of
Are you guys serious, or did this just turn into a joke thread without me noticing?

Yeah, those bolt on guys in the low 11's/high 10's haven't even considered how to get more power out of their engines...

Nevermind, I'm sure the short bus will be around to pick you up soon anyway, since you obviously missed the train.
I.E., the clue train, since you aren't too bright.

LS6 cars make it, somewhat rarely (becoming more common), but they do reach that mark. I think it is all in the cam. With a better cam, you can get 400rwhp, but on a stock LS1 cam, there is no posiblity.
I have never nor do I think I ever will, hear of a 400rwhp bolt on LS1......
BTW, you all say 350....that is very low, I have personaly encountered a buddy's WS6 get over 360 with headers, lid and dynomouth. No pully either....
Then again, his car is stupid fast for what he has, I haven't heard of anything else that high, at least not local.

and zambolx your not going to get 20rwhp on an already tuned car, thats what z98 is referring to. the tuning is already a given.

I don't think it can be done with bolt ons either. In order to get to 400 hp, at least a few stick ons would be needed as well. And lets not forget, while we don't have official numbers, one member in particular has breached the 200mph mark with "strap on body parts".

whao!!!!!!!!!! I didnt mean to cause such a commotion, I was just a lil curious since I'm still a little ignorant to the potiential that our cars may have or not have. And after hering so many good points from all of you, would it be safe to assume 380 rwhp with bolt-on's? And if so what kind of 1/4 mile eta would that be?

Now if anyone disagrees with my statement please say so in an orderly name there is no need to start talking bout clues, and trains and calling someone stupid just couse you disagree with me. sp please if you disagree let me know the proper way.
Edit: oopps unit beated me to it, yea 11's sound more like it but after what i seen in this thread i figure i might as well stay on the extremely conservative side and avoid any more discruntal members out there.
