Default Stock Vette Vrs Z28

Hey guys, wondering what would it take for my 99 Z28 to woop on a stock LS1 Vette (specifically 97-00), both AT and M6.

my SS (02 M6) would wail on the family's 03 A4 Vert. Like not even close. I sadly haven't had a chance to bring the vette to a track yet to see what it runs so I cant give ya numbers. But so far every vette i've raced (they've all been stock) I've beaten. 2 verts and 1 targa down.

I've owned a 99 Trans am, a 97 Vette, and currently an 02 z06 all M6's. My 97 Vette dynod within 3 rwhp of my Trans Am (vette 303.3rwhp, TA 300.1rwhp). It's really too close to call. With equal drivers I think the C5 would just barely edge the F-body out. It seems I can launch the vette better. I DO think that a M6 Fbody would take an A4 Vette, but an M6 vette would take an A4 f-body.
