Default import respect

Just wanted to post up this link to give some imports some credit since we all tend to flame them a lot. Go here: www.to4r.com All of the cars that are members there are at least 700 crank hp. Supras tend to be dyno queens but quite a few of them have the track numbers to back it up. Scope this dyno chart too (98 6speed Supra): http://www.to4r.com/members/media/peterbdyno.jpg

As long as the car is properly built and they don't have the "ricer mentality" I respect them. You'll notice my license plate frame says "I pimp slap rice" some peopel get offended but their definition is all imports. *shrug* oh well.

Wow, never seen a torque curve so peaky. It's almost non-existant 4500 rpm's.

That would be a pretty scary jump when driving spirited through some curves.

Easily. For some reason, supras are always running 13's even with 500 RWHP.
But those trap speeds

That f-body would not like racing that supra from a roll.

They sure are peaky cars when they put in a huge single turbo. I would love to ride in the car with the dyno sheet I posted up top. It goes from 400rwhp to over 1100rwhp from 5000rpm to 6000rpm. That would suck you back like none other.

Now why would you get on this forum and post this....are you a ricer in disguise? Perhaps MJSLude99 you are lost and in the wrong fourm. You might try www.ricedouthondas.com if your looking for others to agree with you. I have a hard time respecting someone that actually thinks that their wing is functional(and I have yet to see one that didn’t swear by it). There are a FEW 4/6 cyls that I have seen big numbers from, but all of them I know are rich kids that dont know **** about racing. I think they sound awful and look stupid with big tires on the front and a huge wing on the back. As for the graph up top, it looks like it goes from 200hp to 650hp so I dont know where your getting 1100hp? I guess I just like good ol american rear wheel torque. If you want to respect them, do it but im stickin with what I have said before....To Much Rice Makes Me Sick

I'd say you're right... it's a fake. Tq and Hp don't cross at 5252 on that graph... which is absolutely impossible.

They won't cross at 5252 because the power scale on the left and the torque scale on the right are not on the same plane, If they were both set to 900 or 650 then they would cross at that point, but they do look confusing if you did not know that bit of info.

Look at the very first post on this thread and click on the link to the graph, 1100rwhp is what you will see. I don't see how you consider the best of the best TT Supras to be rice. Do a little reading on that site, all of those guys know cars and know what they're talking about. You are pretty much acting more like a ricer than anything else.

I'll be damned, I didn't even notice that... It looks a bit better that way... =)

I still got respect. I got a Integra with the Jackson Racing Supercharger pushing 8 pounds of boost plus a 50 shot of N20 to it. Id like to have it dynoed but only have ran it which was a around a 14.5 which isnt bad for having almost stock fuel components and stock internals. Its a pretty damn quick car. Not as quick as what a turbo would do but its nice to have the power always there and no waitin for boost to spool up. I mean i do have a body kit and some wheels and some different tail lights (nothing like those damn altezzas) but it gives up a pretty good run for its money.

the top line (i would assume is hp) ends inbetween 800-900, yet max power is set at what looks like 780, and max tq is 6xx something, ecen though it never passes the 550 mark, so either way that is 1 messed up graph

Other way around, buddy. Top line is Tq, bottom line is Hp.

Reminds me of a skyline here in colorado...Dynoed at like 800rwhp and ran a high 11 or something like that. Along with the 700rwhp+ supras up here. Of course from a role, the cars are deadly.

I got mad respect for top of the line imports. Not rice. Rice is ****. Makes for good junkyard fill. I wouldn't wanna mess with a TT Skyline on a roll.....thats suicide. It'd be fun looking at his taillights tho
