piston slap sticks out like a sore thumb, youll notice it. we are organizing a little LS1/2/6/7 car club and i think all of our "members" have it, including me.
as far as oil burning, check the oil after driving it. theres a good chance whoever has it wont know that it burns oil, its usually such a small amount.
good luck!

ok heres the deal: I am torn to if this is too much for the car. 99 ss, Red, ss 5 spoke wheels, lca's, stb, ss front grille,12 disc changer very well taken care of, around 85k highway miles, 1 owner who is an adult. always under a car cover. 12,500 takes the car. And also, how do i contact SLP to verify whatever is that they verify?

that doesnt sound like a bad price, as long as the car isnt ragged. and if youre worried about it not being a real SS just email SLP with the vin number.
