what is seafoam and what does it do?

Default what is seafoam and what does it do?

i see threads every so often about seafoam, and people running it through their cars and what not, im just curious what exactly its use is and when/why you should use it?

It's a top end cleaner induced via a vac line usually to clean the top end of the motor. Works pretty well. It's ~$6/can at the local autoparts store. It helped reduce my cold start knock a great deal.

BTW... it creates a mighty smoke show.

Sea foam is awesome it will do whatever you want it to like magic. j/k but it is a really awesome product. I've used it on my boat and truck, you can add it to gas or oil and it will clean stuff out. I suggest getting some every few thousand miles.
