the reg tr55's are more then fine,
when people tell you stock wires are good , are right, but if you "have" to replace them cause yours are bad, then any good 8mm+ wire will work

The only benefit to irridiums is that you don't have to change them as often, right? People say regular TR55's are good for about 15k, and irridiums triple that. Is this accurate?

Other way around man. Irridiums require a lower temperature or something to that extent. They work great, but the irridium coating that is on the conductor, chips and cracks off...or just becomes faulty. I read this in my Super Chevy mag. I have it at my house if you want any more info let me know.

I recently replaced mine, last weekend I beleive. Two of my old TR55s looked pretty bad, on the #4 and #6 cylinders. I replaced all 8 plugs with TR6s and replaced the stock wires with MSD 8.5mm super conductors. I did not feel any SOTP, but maybe it would show 1 or 2 rwhp on the dyno. However, I have a better peace of mind knowing I have brand new plugs/wires at 50k miles. That's the only reason I replaced my stock wires

Oops! I'm sorry, should have noted that. My bad Yes if you plan to spray, get the TR6s

Also when you put the plugs in, don't forget anti-sieze
