Default Throwing a code

My buddies 2000 SS had an SES light come on so I ran the codes for him, it came back saying "knock sensor low input". I have no clue what this means, can anyone shed some light on it?

Most likely the Knock Sensor is bad, or a faulty connection exists between the KS and the PCM.
