Default Oil light

Ok my oil light went on a couple of weeks ago so I was like crap better go change my oil. I changed the oil and the oil light is still on. But when the light comes on when I start the car it only stays on for about 2 minutes and then it goes off? Is this a problem that I should look into? Or is it somthing that I should just live with?

you have to reset the oil light every time you change it, turn the key to on and pump the pedal or hold the trip button down

Yea,on mine you need to turn the key to the on postion(don't start it) and hold the trip odometer reset for like 30sec, it should flash telling you that its been reset then go off.
