SLP air lid rubbing I've had my SLP air lid for over a year now, and even though there is no hole in it yet, i'm kinda mad cause it seems as though the peak part of the lid is rubbing the underside of my hood. it's been doing it awhile and i'm afraid that if i let it go eventually i'll have a big hole in it, and we all know that isn't good at all. i know i installed it right, i mean it couldn't have been any more simple. anyone else ever seen this problem?

No problems here. Check your Hood bump stops. is your hood adjusted right (even with the fenders). Check to see if the airbox is tightened down right or popping up. Hope this helps.

both my SS and Z have the same issue. Its nothing too bad though just a bit of rubbing but it would probably take a few years for mine before any problem might arise if any.
