my 94z had LT's,CAI,3.73's,magnaflow,2800 stall, prostars w/ET streets,no front sway bar and ran a best on 12.60@107 1.68ft. I sold it and bought a 02 SS M6 and ran 13.60@107 2.2ft. the ET wasnt there but the mph was the same and mph is horsepower

you know i was just about to bring you up on this, titus

titus's lt1 broke ALOT of stock and not so stock ls1 hearts

how you doin man?

your et's are being lost in your 60' no suprise when your going from a stalled a4 to a stock m6... i'd be happy to get a 13.0-12.9 time slip outa that thing for yah next time we hit the track

MPH means nothing. Who crosses the traps first does

my ls1 does 118 traps (that more like it? )
Lol, but here is the problem with your theory. Most LS1's running at a track are not stock just like you are not stock. Reaction time will definately help though. I've seen cars with lower ET's lose a race because they were sleeping at the tree.

MPH means how much power your car actually has. I commend you for not street racing (I don't either). But if you ever have a rice burner messing with you on the highway and you decide to go for it then that trap will come into play.

118 traps are definately more like it

What's the point? So someone elses modded LT1 has beaten some LS1's. So what? money=mods and mods=speed. I'm guessing Taners LT1 has broken ALOT of Mustang hearts, LS1 hearts, LT1 hearts, Import hearts, ect. But then again that tends to happen when you run mid 9's

What about Joe Overton? I wonder how many hearts he broke along the way?

I'd much rather lose to a modded LT1 then a Civic or SRT-4. But as it stands I am 3-0 at the track vs LT1's. I guess that means I broke 3 LT1 hearts Lol. Maybe after another track season I can get enough in to say I broke ALOT of LT1 hearts

This is true but t he original question was, is LS1s faster then LT1s. Stock for stock LT1s have more grunt down low. Nothing I cant fix with a stall converter, obviously I drive a LS1. To give you an idea, my freind had heads and cam on his LT1 and wanted to race me when I first got my car. My car was BONE sock and he beat me by 1.5 car lengths. Now he wont even race

My buddy has an A4 '94 Formula w/ BBK Shorties, Hooker catback, CAI, etc and he still can't get out of the 14's.
