Thought this thread would be fun to bump.
Best mod I ever did was the shifter. The factory Hurst was awful. I went with Pro 5.0, but I have a Tick in it now which I’ll be trying soon for the first time.
That said, when we’re up and running with the heads/cam/headers LS3, it’s quite possible I’ll have a new opinion on the matter.
Other things I’ve done that were truly excellent mods, in no particular order.
Strano springs, swaybars, and Koni shocks.
Corsa catback
Lightweight flywheel
Subframe connectors
17x9 wheels and 275 tires.
13” / 6-piston front brakes (for HPDE; factory LS1 brakes are totally fine for street use)
