On the track i will use dr's on stock rims....
Well, first to go would probably be the clutch. Next, the rear end (if not before the clutch).. Third, twisting an axle if you get a good, sticky launch. Fourth, bent pushrods if you miss the 2-3 shift a couple of times. That many miles on the trans, could blow synchros.

Other than that, go for it!

BTW, I speak from experience with the M6, and it was brand new when I bought it and I only put 38K miles on it in five years and still had to replace a few things thanks to drag racing. Hard launches and missed shifts are very hard on these cars when they're stock. But, if it's any consolation, I didn't blow the rear end until I added cam and headers.
