BTW, I speak from experience with the M6, and it was brand new when I bought it and I only put 38K miles on it in five years and still had to replace a few things thanks to drag racing. Hard launches and missed shifts are very hard on these cars when they're stock. But, if it's any consolation, I didn't blow the rear end until I added cam and headers.
