Let's not forget about Unit running 11.5's with only 3 mods on his old Z28. The man knows what he's doing.

I have two friends with '03s - yes they are faster, by a few tenths stock, but we are comparing apples and oranges.

FI -vs- N/A
32v OHC -vs- 16v Pushrod

When a pulley change can throw you into the low 12's or high 11's, it isn't really fair!

readin through this thread got me thinkin(insert hampster wheel sound effect), what is included in the 15% figure as far as "drivetrain" loss, is brake hp a rating with no accessories on a engine dyno? or are they fully loaded? i believe thats where the difference in numbers are between the loss percentages, some ppl run with no belts, or elect water pumps etc. you get the drift. there are probably other factors like air flow and cooling also. so one persons dt loss will be different than on the next, hense why there are too many factors and it is just a rough estimate

Look up the difference between net and gross HP.
