loss of compression Ive lost compression on my #5 cylinder and its going on #4. Anything I could check before I pull it out and rebuild it? I think its the rings, but I really don't know. Any help would be awesome.

I had a massive loss of power and then the SES light started to flash (misfire) so I replaced the plugs and wires, but it didn't help. So I took it to a shop for a diagnostic and thats what they found, quoted me at least $4500 to fix it. I figure I can do it myself for a bit less than that.

Damn ! I hope that was for a full rebuild
Labor these days is just ridiculous.
