New Here, have a problem.
OK. So my car is acting funny. Sometimes when I start going, it will completely bog. Feels like it is getting no fuel or the no air. I can let off the gas, push in the clutch, let it back out and continue on my way. I need to check the fuel pressure at the rail, but I don't have the gauge and don't know if it would do any good anyway. The car doesn't do this all the time, it's kind of sporatic.
Also, when I am going partial throttle and I shift it will be all good until about a second after I am in the next gear at partial throttle. It will bog and feels like something is being cut off. It didn't use to do this when I first got it. I have changed the fuel filter and maybe I need to do it again. I don't know. Any help is appreciated.
Could it be the fuel pump acting up sometimes? I don't think it would be the filter since it doesn't do it all the time. I also don't think it would be injectors for the same reason. Heck, maybe it is my throttle cable. I really don't know. Any ideas?
what conditions is this happing in, hot or cold engine, only once a day week month, or no real set pattern of when it happens, what kind of gas are you using, how many miles are on it, try some injector cleaner and some carb cleaner on the tb and see what happens
