My car at idle kind of shutters a little every 15-20 seconds. Its just enough to make the rpms go down a 100 rpms or so. what is this? thanks for the help!!

How many miles on your car? Plugs? Wires? Mine's done that a few times....usually right around the time it's needing a plug change.

it's a 02 with 36000. i wouldn't think the spark plugs would be bad, right?

I changed mine at about 25K miles. They didn't look all that bad, but she ran better when she was on NGK TR55's vs. the stock platinum. I've heard some people say that some cars just don't like the platinum plugs..apparently my WS6 was one of them. (The Firehawk though has been fine on them so far...) I'd say pull one of the easy to get to plugs and see what it looks like. When I pulled the platnium's, you could see a spot on them that was getting hotter than the rest. Changed them and she's been fine since.

before you change anything,
clean your idle air controler.
