AN AUTOMATIC (A4)?????? What were you thinking?

Just messin'! I know how it was when mine came in off the truck all taped up!
....and I have just as much fun today as I did back in March 2002.

Congrats

Congrats!

Maybe it's just the angle of the picture...but do those rims look odd to anyone else? The center caps are right, but the spokes don't look right...like I said...maybe it's just the angle of the pict...what does everyone else think?

Certainly don't look like the rims on my Hawk. Or any other Hawk I've seen. Nice looking car though.

WE have been hashing this out over on the FAOA boards, and the best way to confirm it is to contact SLP directly w/VIN. Some interesting discussions on this under General discussion...."Firehawk Down" thread.

Nice car. Last year T/A. Firehawk. Good find. Decent price too. I don't care for the wheels, but when I bought mine it came with winter wheels, so I can't say anything.
Anyway, Nice find, Enjoy it!

Different rims, and different hood. I have never seen those 98 cobra like back scoops on a hood. I would be posting on www.firehawk.org or calling slp to confirm. I don't know why on earth someone would swap out either...and i dont think there were options for different hoods...maybe rims..but i dont think so.

This is for a 2001, but should apply to your year..looks like the rims were an option, and there is an option for "heat extractors" on the hood...which i assume are those secondary scoops. havent found any pictures of that though.

That hood is correct. It looks exactly like the hood on my Firehawk, and every other Firehawk I've seen in person (which most have been 2001 or 2002 years so that could make a difference, not sure.) I think the heat extractors can be seen in one of the pictures in my webshots....

Looks like someone swapped out rims though and swapped center caps. There were options for different rims, at least in 2002, but it was crome or painted aluminum. They looked exactly the same, except for finish, but neither looked like those rims.
