Default clicking noise

today i just removed my EGR and AIR, and now i can hear a ticking noise from the driver side exhuast manifold, found out it was the block off plate not tight, so i tightened it and tried again, still ticking, tightened it again and snaped the head on one of the bolts, so i dug out the welder and welded it on, its tight, no movement at all, ticking is still there, just much, much quieter now, im just wondering if any of you guys got a tick sound after putting on block off plates

im starting to think because theres no AIR tubing(i didnt realize there was that much rubber tubeing!) the sound is not muffled, so maybe this is normal

car drives great, just an annoying noise

Pull the AIR fuse. I think it's the AIR electric motor located under the driver headlight.

no more AIR, the AIR pump is in a box on a shelf in my garage, not under the headlight
