I have an 02 WS6 right now. I love the car but I could sell it and get a Z06, I can get a great deal on one, for a little more than the sale price of my F-body.

If I choose to do this there are a couple downsides though: I cant take my two friends or two girls anywhere anymore being a two seater, I cant recline my seat all the way, and if i sell my car i'll be driving a 1997 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight for about six months in between. Also i'm only nineteen and it might look a little weird for me to drive a Z06 already, not that I would care at all though.

There are also upsides:more power stock, less weight, much better handling, the image of "Corvette", lower insurance I think ive heard.

I could STS turbo my TA or go Z06, what do you guys think ?

 

zo6 are sweet man,but i know you love your ta.i would go for the zo6 though

 

Iam nineteen as well, and as much as I love my SS, I would go for z06.

 

I wish I didn't have the two extra seats because I hate having two people in the back. The two seater sports car is a big plus to me. I say Z06

I test drove a Z06 two years ago at the GM autoshow in motion and that thing was bad as hell!! It was probably a good thing that I didnt have my car then cause there would have been no way i could appreciate it anymore.

I'm probably going to go with the Z06 cause of the reasons i stated before and cause it appears to be in a different "league" than my car.

I really love my WS6, its gonna break my heart to see it go and im sure i'll regret it for a while while i'm car-less but in the end, I have a feeling it will turn out for the better.

Any thing else I might need to consider before I put my car on eBay?

Z06 or a TT WS6 ? The Vette is a far superior sports car in every way. Honestly who cares about a WS6 when it's sitting next to a Z06. Even if the Z06 will loose in a race, it doesn't matter unless your at the track or street racing, and there aren't too many twin turbo F-bods around. It must be tough being 19 and having to make such difficult choices.

i was gonna get a z06 and i was even gonna insure it on my dads name and he hasnt been in wreck or even gotten pulled over in 40 years and the z06 was double what my t/a is

and T-maxx - the STS turbo is a single, rear mounted turbo system, not a twin-turbo setup.

 

I say stick with the TA... not sure how much more insurance is but personally I don't like Z06's.

Depending on my finances I would keep the WS6... Tough one though
