March Pulley Problems?

March Pulley Problems? I changed the pulley out on my car. It was pulling hard through 6000 with the old pulley.
I installed the UD pulley (it charges great with the new alternator even at idle!).
I push in the clutch and it swings through 6000 RPM smooth, however under a load, it falls on its face (bogs down) 5500-6000 and bogs for 1 second after the 1-2 shift. What the crap?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
