I've had my car for a year now and I've never had to check anything at all.
My SES light just came on and my dealer told me that even if they conduct no repairs, they will charge me $79.95 just because they have to spend time scanning the LS1 management unit... Oh, and I'd have to leave my car there a couple of days because they're backed up, yadda yadda.
I've heard that Autozone will scan a car for free, and I know this is a stupid question, and I tried searching info on these forums under "SES" and other keywords, but...
Where is the port to connect the diagnostic scanning tool?
I have no idea! I'll appreciate any input... Thanks in advance guys!
