On the freeway, I was able to consistantly pull 300-320, on the streets for the weekend and racing Cobra's, I'd say about 160-200 on a m6, but that's with my gas pedal being stuck to the floor!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I turned to by g/f friend and said "this guy has a 2000 Z28 with exhaust, cam, this that and the other..." and delivers pizzas in it.

But hey, a job is a job and it's better than nothing.

Yeah, but buy a beater car for it. You can get an old intrepid ( 30mpg ) for like 1-2k and it will save your camaro.... that pizza smell would get annoying, quick.

Wow... I must be a wuss when I drive. Stock 98' SS with M6. Hitting on the highway on cruise and leaving it until the tank is nearly dry, I can get just over 400 miles on a tank. typically it's closer to the low 300 range with a mix of driving. Worse I ever got was high 200s, and that was driving like a maniac (or so I thought).

for all u guys that are getting shitty as milege.. i would check ur **** out. i bet u have a vacuum leak somewhere. thats pathetic gas mileage.. i get on my **** all day long.. and get at least 275 to a tank.. mine is a 16gall. i had the same problem.. i was gettin like 210 to the gallon.. turns out my LTFT was like +25% to lean.. and was dumpin mass amounts of fuel. all from a vacuum leak (pipe that goes to the egr on the manifold). check it out.. if u can get ur hands on a nitrogen gasser.. and find some **** out

Can also be that some of us with the low milage aren't waiting until the E to fill up.. I know I'm not, I always fill up with about 1/4th of a tank left and I am able to pull 200 miles 3/4ths of a tank.

Dam, I must be doing something right for a change. I get 480 miles to a tank, with my 3.23's and a 700R4 ... 30 MPG @ 65 MPH.

that is not a full tank somewhere between E and 1/4 tank, with all city driving, rarely getting above 40MPH, filled up today right when the light came on (literaly) 248.7 miles, and i put in $32 at $2.39, i didnt pay attention to the gallon meter

15 mpg? wonder if a tune would help that some. Headers can make you run pretty rich i've heard.

My car seems to get exceptional gas mileage, i always fill up when my trip meter reads around 230-240, w/ plenty of room to spare until E. Im a gas mileage nut though, i like to know exactly how much fuel my car uses every time i refill.

Im averaging 21.12 mpg at the moment city driving, and im hoping to see 25-28 on the hiway when i actually get to drive somewhere further than 20 minutes away.
