Oh brother...

jrp - get your *** over here and straighten this out, again...for the 1 millionth time.

What about WS8 or Z07? I believe they are both RPO codes for factory blown WS6's and Z06's. Right? Guys? Guys? Bueller?

Don't forget with the older motors that have "LS" in it, it was followed by a dash then the #. For example, the 70 Chevelle SS with the 454 was the LS-6. Just some thought, most everybody on here probably knows this anyway.

Actually the z07 is the MTI f-body or Y-body enhancement package that they produce consisting of the 427 LS1 stroker and other modifications. Im not sure about the WS8, doesnt sound like anything familiar..

As far as I know, GM does not outsource any assembly work to MTI prior to their cars hitting dealer lots. Therefore, nothing that MTI does is a GM RPO code. They can call it whatever they want, but it's not a GM package.

WS7 is not a current (or recent past) valid GM RPO code, as best as I can find anyway.

Again, just because people (or shops) choose to adopt designations for certain packages that resemble GM RPO codes does NOT mean they have any direct connection to a factory offered package.
