I'd put it in the bank for the new motor you're gonna need/want.

why would i need a new motor? i take care of my engine verry well, and people have way more miles than me. i only drive it about 1-2 times a week so i hope i'm not going to need one anytime soon.

Ditch the Y-pipe unless you plan to get shorties later.

Well as long as you aren't racing it and such, then I guess all's well. But if I was racing a motor with those miles, once a week or ten times a week, I know I'd be more comfortable with a fund.

thats not true I bought my 97 z28 with 10,000 miles on it in 98, I sold the car last year to my brother in law with 208,000 miles and never given me a major problem besides ac compressor, water pump and minor stuff that wear during the years. But the tranny seems to be giving up on him already.

I would save a little more for the SLP ZL402 storker motor which you can get for around 3,800 from SLP. I'm saving up for one right now.
