great price except for the miles. You need to pass on that one. Even if you garage kept it for 20 years you're still starting out with 6x,ooo! Unless you plan to drive the shine right off of it I'd wait for the next one. Similar price w/ half the miles.

thanks for all of the reply's guys.i picked it up today for 18k. it was a 1 owner car(female owned) from texas. have a ton of paperwork on the car like ALL of the reciepts from the oil changes scince it was new. the window sticker, even the buyers order where it shows what she paid and how much they gave her for the honda she traded in. car is as close to mint as a used car gets plus it was exactly what i was looking for so it was worth 18k to me. they are hard to come by here. saw a '00 w/ 90k on it last week for 20k.needless to say i passed on that one. i thought they made the ram-air t-am's when they changed from the '92 bodystyle. i know they didnt look as nice and didnt have an ls1, but they were still nice IMO. just dont know the exact year they came out. anyhow, thanks for all the help!!!!

I think you got a good/fair deal and it sounds like a car that was not abused. So, being that we can no longer get one new, I think you got a great car at a good price.

not a bad deal. I got my 01 ws6-m6 for 13500.00 here in iowa. It had 90K on the clock tho. Anyways, welcome, and i am also new to the f body/LS1 scene, as I just got my car last weekend. Love it so far, except for the powerband, it seems slower then molasses untill like 4500 rpms. Anyways, mod away is my answer, I am currently looking for gears, what should I get guys, 3.73 or 4.10?

Unless you want to risk paying for a new rear end do not get 4.10's. Especially if you're going to go the FI route.

He still has an 02 vert WS6 M6 and a 01 10th anniversary firehawk, a 99 SS m6 . He's keeping all of thoses. You should have seen his driveway before he sold the other 2. He could start his own LS1 car club

damn, wish I saw this sooner!! anyways, checked around today(i didnt check around before i bought the car. dumb move,i know. i get impaitent.did the same thing when i bought my cobra)and they seem to be selling around 18-22k depending on miles. there was a 01 w/ 2500 miles but they wanted 25k. i love the car though. havent driven my cobra scince i got it.haha. ordered a clear lid, cross drilled and slotted rotors front and rear, and a pro-5.0 shifter which i HIGHLY recommend. i have had steeda,b&m,and hurst(on stangs) and switched to pro 5.0's on the gt and cobra and havent had any problems w/ them for years. just put one on the ws6 and it was exactly what i expected. thanks for all of the replys guys.
