i get about 300 to a tank on the highway 240 or so in the city but the size of the fueltanks changed a few times from 98 thru 2002 so everyone will not get the same per tank .

my last tank was about 24mpg that included 4 passes at Cordova dragway some smoke shows for some mustang boys and letting my 17 year old brother drive it a little. Normal highway driving i use 1 , 3, 6 gears. Only mod is muffler delete.

one thing to realize, 1999-2002 F-Bodies have a 16.8 gallon tank vs a 15.5 for people with 98s. I get about 16 mpg/210 miles per tank... i guess thats close to the 19 city, I shift at about 3000 rpm most of the time.

My last tank averaged 26.6mpg. That's 359 miles for me. I shift around 1500-2000 which is alot harder to do now after getting the LT's and ORYP. It seems alittle slugish from 1000-2000.

I checked mine last week on Highway 101 from the SF Bay Area to Los Angeles.
It went 354 miles and the check gages light came on. I filled up at 365.4 miles and it took 14.005 gallons. That's 26.927 MPG. Stock '02 SS with SLP air and center exhaust. Stayed 75 and under all the way.
If you let air out of the rear tires for traction, your mileage will suffer.

Im still getting between 21-22 mpg with my A4 doing mostly (about 80%) city driving. I dont race from corner to corner but i dont drive like a grandma either. And my car also dynoed 321/341 a couple weeks ago, so i know its not a slouch for a mostly stock car.

I think what varys alot is the drivers and the condition of the cars.
