Did any 98-02 F-bodies come with vinyl interior rather than leather. just wondering cause my 98 seems like it has vinyl, maybe it's just pontiac's cheap leather, i dont know. thanks.

IIRC it was a choice between cloth or leather (or as the brochure put it "leather seating surfaces" ) so it's just GMs cheap leather.
There are certain parts of the seat that are vinyl, and plastic, but where you sit is leather

The seating surfaces are leather. The outer edges of the seats are vinyl.

The leather used in the trans ams is rather cheap. Pontiac uses better stuff in their higher end cars (like bonneville) but it's still not the greatest....

The leather in the T/A is the best of the leather you could get in the f-body. The Camaro leather is pretty cheap with vinyl around the sides and back.
