When my car had erratic idling problems in the past, I've always fixed by cleaning out the Inlet Air Control Valve. It's on the side of the throttle body. Take it off and clean it with carb cleaner.

replace the O2 ...
if your DELETED it , it will not comeback...but you will still have a bad O2...
if that does not fix it(but i think it will)
then i would look at cleaing your IAC.... not the IACV....
IAC=idle air controler...

Thanks for the correction. Idle Air Controller, not Inlet Air Control. However, it still is a valve.

Do you know what code it was or what it said? bank 1 or bank 2, ring any bells? if it was your rear O2's then its ok to delete them, but your fronts is a no no, i say go cheapest first, clean your IAC valve, if that doesnt work, fuel filter, then if that doesnt work replace the O2 sensor, those things are like 110 bucks from GM, but im sure you can find some on ebay for cheaper, or if you know someone w/hp tuners have them delete your rear o2's and replace them with the ones up front, they are interchangeable, although i dont know if the wireing is long enough,
