The 02 LS1 cam position sensor part number is 12561211, I believe the last one listed was 12561311. Typo?

I am swapping a 04 Vortec engine into my 51 Chevy pickup. Sorry not an actual LS1 question. I searched an it appears that the outer dimensions of the engines are the same, and there are a few differences, but does anyone know if the bellhousing to engine bolts and flexplate bolts are going to interchange with the 01-02 LS1?

Any help would be appreciated. I already went to two dealers, and I dealt with idiots both times. Sucks that these days you can never find an old mechanic/parts guy that knows his stuff. These computer jockies can't grasp why you would want to swap an engine. Someone please help.

Thanks
Corey

Default Rear brakes

Rubber boot on the backing plate for the e-brake lever.

I hope that explains it.

Thanks

There are at least 2. One is deeper to allow room for the reluctor wheel on the non-TCS cars. If you have a traction control car you have the 2 reluctor wheels on the axles (4 channel), so either rear cover will work. Just don't try and fit a 4 channel rear cover to a 3 channel car. It won't fit.

Also, has anyone seen the engine covers for the 2005 Gran Prix GXP? They have the 5.3 V8 and a wicked looking one piece cover. Much nicer than the vette and GTO covers plus it should fit on the F-body car with minimal trimming in the rear. If anyone knows the part number let me know, I haven't found out much about them.

Default Ram Air hood insulation pad

I'm installing a WS6 Ram Air hood on my '94 Formula. My dealer can't come up with the under hood insulation pad part number, search STILL ain't working and I've just looked through all 13 pages of posts in this thread. No mention of any Ram Air pads.

The dealer's only showing for non-WS6 hoods.

Any numbers, even if it's dead?

THANKS!
