things to look for
things to look for im goin with a buddy today to look at a 98 Z-28, and he wants me to look at the car to see if it's been wrecked or not, i know a few of the signs to look for, but what do you guys look for. thanks.

I like to pull up the matts etc in the trunk I can usually tell right away if its been rearended. I was looking at a car once at a dealership and the guy told me never been in a accident , then I pulled up the masking tape where it had been painted like a day ago ,he almost **** .

look for paint chipped off of mody mounting bolts, stuff like that.
also, it doesnt mean its been in a wreck but look underneath and see if the front fenders mounting tabs are unmolested and not bent up due to some yahoo putting a jack there. if not, then you may get some bargaining leverage out of it.
