Do they strenghten up the 10 bolt at all, i wanna run my car a few times but dont want the rear end to break. i wont be going over 350 hp anytime soon. I might make about 30 or 40 passes.

Search! Especially the drag racing and gears and axles.

Yes. It won't do a WHOLE lot, but it will help. There are things you can break that it does not help protect against as well. I assume you have a manual transmisson? Sticky tires? You just can't launch aggressively, or bang it into second very hard. If you don't do that you should be okay for awhile.

For an M6 at the track it's probably a worthwhile investment.

You probably won't have problems unless you dump the clutch at 5K and the tires and clutch hook. If you are only going to race a few times I wouldn't worry, but if you get the bug(like I have), you will need to get a better rear.

Default rearend girdle

I use one on my stocker, and i never launch hard, and use roadrace tires purposly for slippage to prolong it, and only race from a roll. BUT: considering all that, ive raced many dozens of times with 600 plus hp and no problems yet. But we all know im on borrowed time. Yet it sounds tight still, and no metal in the oil when i change it. Im currently getting the stuff for a rearend swap with tunnel mount torque arm. My torque arm is still perfect also. We are close to the change over.

BTW I was launching this weekend on my Sumitomo 315's at 3K and the tires hooked hard. The car bogged, but no issues. I didn't get to try 4K, but will soon.
