A friend of mine has a buddy that has a 04 C5 that is an auto (don't know the gearing though). Its also either a convertible or Ttop (can'remember what he said). I talked to my buddy about askin him about running them one day for fun, he probaley won't though but who do you think would win? I think hes stock. Thanks

 

Stock for stock (cars with the same transmission) it will be a driver's race. If you have mods and he doesn't you should take him. The C5's have a little more horsepower due to the true dual exhaust, but their IRS eats up a little more horsepower than the F-body's 10 bolt.

 

if ur running him w/the car and mods in ur sig you'll walk him, like Zoltan said the Transaxle eats up a few extra ponies. Whether ur A4 or M6 if he is stock, (especially if he is convertable) you will beat him, and stock for stock same tranny and equal drivers it will be close, but from the vettes i ran when i was stock i pulled on them all (only 3 tho) 1 of them was a younger guy, the rest in there 50's, so they may have been crappy drivers, but i still think w/equal drivers the fbody would come out on top, barely

C5 Corvettes with automatic transmissions have a standard rear axle ratio of 2.72...if it has the performance axle ratio it is 3.15..the Corvette weighs in at a little over 3200 pounds...he weighs a little less than you and you have a couple of mods...what ever happens it should be close...
