will 98-99 throttle bodies fit 2000 on up camaro ls1?

No, not easily. I was told that you would have to swap the tb blade, cam, and shaft assembly to get it to adapt.

thats funny, im runnin an 02 TB on my 98. direct bolt on....

I have a 98 and I got a newer throttle body by mistake from TSP awhile back. It's the throttle body cam that you have to worry about. If you have two from different years you have to change the cam. With the newer, larger, slower opening cam on my 98 it wouldn't idle. Well, i don't think it would, I shut it off as soon as I foolishly tried starting it and the revs were already at 3500 and climbing. I had no idea how easy it was to swap the stuff over, so a somewhat friendly local who knows his **** (Louis) did it for me.

thats funny since on the years of cams in our f-bodies the 98 and 99 have bigger cams in them than the 00-02 ones.

Not the cam, the throttle body "cam" is the half moon looking thing that the gas line hooks to, or the thing you turn to rev the engine up. Not the actual internal cam.

BTW we only have 1 cam, but I'm sure you knew that and just had a type-o
