Ive been here a few months planning a ls1/t56 swap for my 68 camaro, and yesterday I finally got one.
Its a wrecked 99ss but after the 6 hour drive home with it on a trailer i couldnt resist taking it out for a spin... now i see why you guys love theese things so much! probably would have been better if the right rear trailing arm werent broken off and the wheel replaced with a spare....
none the less i cant wait to get this in my 68 with a bit better breathing.

oh yea sorry to leave that out, putting a few bolt ons to the ls1 and dropping that with the t56 in my 68, along with the brakes with bigger drilled and slotted rotors. and once i get the new wheels it will actually look like the pro touring car it is.
Also a little bonus of the buy was 4 nicely used 275/40/17s burnout tires haha
