My camaro is a nice looking car I just think Im paying too much but again whats done is done I know better next time. As for my GN it hauls @$$ a turbo makes a world of difference. Thats one car I enjoy driving all weekend. I wish GM get there stuff together so by the time I pay this camaro I can get a V8 rearwheel drive. Thanks to everybody for thier input I guess I have no choice but to keep the car besides there is no carmax in NJ.

Pay the Camaro down to where you aren't totally upside-down in it, and then sell it. Either way you are going to end up paying a few thousand dollars out of pocket. You could always try to trade it in, and roll your losses into the new car payment.

You don't know the meaning of being screwed.

My first car I had to finance, was my intrepid. Bought it from Van Boxtel Ford Used place... car was 5500 ( came out to be like 6400 or something along those lines with all the TTL + the other crap they talked me into, gap, life insurance ect. ) because I didn't have credit, I was 18 and I had to have my Dad co-sign who already had a loan and because of his drinking back then his credit wasn't very good either... I had 2400 CASH on a 5500 car, and I was financed ( through Ford Motor Credit ) 150 a month for 48 months at a JAW DROPPING 26.6% APR, oh and they NEVER told me how much the APR was going to be, nor did I ask about it as I had NEVER financed anything before so APR's were new to me, but 150 a month sounded good....

Being young and having crappy parents ( alcoholic father, divorce, mom kicking me out because she wanted to be with her boyfriend and wanted me out of the way ) I didn't know that if I paid 200 a month instead of 150, I would have had the car paid off in half the time.

Now THAT is what I think is concidered getting SCREWED. Funny thing is 4 years later ( today ) I have a 15000 car financed for 5.1% through my CU. I love them

You live and learn... Never again will I get screwed like that again... nor will I ever go back to them. The only bonus was the car ran like a champ with 89k miles on it and now has 115k four years later and still runs good ( altho the front is busted up a bit and I think I may need to replace the starter ).

Hey you got me beat brother thanks for shareing your story. Well I look at it this way I want a Z28 or TA and looking at gas prices I cant use these as daily drivers anyway and everybody knows these cars suck in snow. Guess Im stuck with the car

NP, just trying to make you feel a little better

I DD my TA and mash the s*** out of the pedal every time I drive it... it's a sports car so high gas bills are expected =/ I wouldn't mind a V6 firebird for a DD

Na! The camaro is bone stock not even a K&N air filter I dont even bother . As for the GN its bone stock too 1 owner just bought it 2 months ago everything was old on the car. Gave it a tune up changed the coil pack, computer module. I have a new down pipe and a turbo to put in. But moneys funny so slowly but surely. This weekend I gotta change the headliner can cruise with that thing hanging in my rearview.

yeah thats a good question...or is that your dads or something...that could have went for a down payment on a ls1 and you could have seen if they could have factored in the v6..or maybe tacked it on if not pay it off..

I figured you guys would ask that ok here it go's. My father gave me is Monte ss when I was 18 its was my dd for 5 years that 305 never let me down. My father moved to Rhode Island and I stood in Jersey. so after so many trips out there and so many late nights at girls houses that lived in south Jersey it was time for a new ride. So enter the camaro and that has its own story trust me anyway the monte was sitting and I knew I would waste alot of money to fix it. So my best friend at the time his grandfather had one with 80,000 miles that he gave to him as a dd. He didnt want it saying 305s suck and ate gas so he sold it to me for 500. But it wasnt the same anymore mines was an 87 and the other 85. Sold my monte for 1000 and the 85 for 2000. So then I bought a 87 Turbo-T for 3800.Then I had a problem with the turbo so I was talking to somebody at work who was a gearhead and somebody was just walking by and heared what we were talking about and said Hey I have a GN Im not really selling it but I will let it go to you for 4000. So I sold the Turbo-T and the same day bought the GN. phew
