Default GM Protectiuon Plan

Does any one in here have Major Guars and if so...

My SES have been coming on since I got the car a month back. Apperentl;y they will pay a private shop to fix it for you but I need a speacial telephone number. My question is I got someone toanalyze it coe for free and he said it was o2 sensors, I still have a stock exhaust. Do you think major guard will pay for a problem with the exhaust????

Tried typing in "Major Guard" at Google for you. Most sites gave out the same info. The thing that struck me most was that the warranty did not cover "maintenance services and parts". You really should call TWO dealerships. I say that because I have been given three different answers to the same question by three different people in the same dealership. It also might be included (whether covered or not) in the printed warranty itself.

Good luck.

There is a federally-mandated 8yr/80Kmi warranty on emissions equipment.

Go to the dealership and see if they will replace the O2 sensors for free.
I know the CATs are covered (mine have been replaced after the 3/36 warranty).

isnt that considered an emissions part?

if its bumper to bumper coverage that should be fixed under warranty.

Yes, but warranties usually dont cover the stuff that will actually fail.
