Z28 and bike for me. It's like having a wife and a girlfriend. Mixing it up a little is a good thing.

Once my Z28 is paid off, I'll be getting another Harley. You want to get the chicks wet? Let'em ride around on your 700 lb vibrator for an hour then take them home.

Tough choice, good luck.

Been riding for 26 years on the street and 33 years since my 1st bike...yep some major A**HOLES on the road you've got to constantly look out for! But wouldn't trade it for anything...If I get tired of one start playin' with the other...There's no better rush or sense of freedom than being on a bike, just watch your *** cause they will bite...hard! It's not a matter of "if" you go down its a matter of "when" and how bad...You can see my choice.

street bike = death or dismemberment

you can't control the other drivers... that is the problem. on a bike you are not the equal of cars.

get a dirt bike. trees don't move.

Thats a pretty bold statement don't ya think? I've know people that have rode for over 50+ years...still walkin' and talkin'...yeh your right a bike is not an equal of a car...thats why you don't ride a bike the same way you drive your car. It's called "responsibility"...some have it, some don't.

I wish every driver on the road had a chance to ride a motorcycle on the street for an extended period of time. It would make them a much better driver!!

I paid my T/A off and got two bikes. One for the street and one for the dirt. Now I'm thinking about selling my street bike because I dont ride it nearly as much as I thought I would...Mostly because as soon as I bought the bike, 2 people I knew were killed on their bikes from a freak accident. To be quite frankly, it scared the crap out of me. I also spend a crap load of time on the dirt. I honestly have more fun riding my dirt bike than my street bike.

Of course the decision is yours, but if I were in your shoes, I would buy the z06.

I voted for the Z28 and bike.

With the Vette, you can have a helluva sport car. With your modded Z28 you already have a helluva sport car.

With the Vette, you can ride with a helluva chick. With your Z28, you can ride with 3 of them.

With the Vette you have no bike. With your Z28 you got your bike!

Choice seems obvious to me.

Cheers!

z06 if it is your dream, you only get one shot at life besides if you go the bike route you may not last long enough to have another chance to get the z06

I'd opt to keep your Z and mod the snot out of it. That's just me. I don't like anything too stock, at least not for long. I guess if you can afford to mod the snot out of the Z06 I'd go for that then. I've been down the sportbike road and I had a blast. I had some adrenaline pumping bikes for sure(200hp na zx12, 170hp na zrx) but it's so easy to get yourself in a bind on one of those. Maybe I wasn't mature enough. I count myself lucky. I had numerous close calls and decided I had had enough.

Default Z06

I would personally take the Z06 since it is already a bad *** ride and has unlimited potentail for reasonable money compared to the price of the car itself. I have owned street bikes and lets just say that if I still owned one I wouldn't be writing this now...street bikes are dangerous and an easy death wish....go for the Z06...plus twenty years from now you will be glad you bought it!

Street bikes are only as dangerous as the person riding them.

Well, if *I* were in your situation, I would keep your Z28 and pay it off. **** the bike, they aren't safe. A bike is simply a toy, and a very dangerous one at that. If you want a bike, buy a model and put it on your desk. As far as the Z06, its too expensive. Think of the future. Buying a house, moving out, expenses, etc... a car isn't everything. Keep the Z28, pay it off. Save your money. That's what I would do.

well, not necessarily.... these days you aren't safe from other drivers errors. Being on a bike makes you more viulnerable because you are totally exposed. Even a "mild" accident could be catastrophic on a bike.

I would say get the Z06 every person i know who has had a back has been in an accident. I just lost a friend 2 months ago, who put his bike into the back of a bus. Another friend got hit by a truck cause the truck didn;t see him and he destroyed his leg. now walks with a limp at age 19. Both cases the guys on bikes were doing nothing wrong but just weren't seen.
